Born September 18, 1929, on a farm near Daugavpils, Latvia. Studed art at the J.Rozentals art school and State Academy of Art in Riga, capital of Latvia. As teachers had such well known artists like Prof. O.Skulme, N.Breikšs, A.Skride, K.Miesnieks, U.Skulme, K.Ubāns. Graduated the Department of Painting at 1957. Works in a oil and watercolor’s medium. Represents a realistic school of painting; works in nature  – under sunshine as well as pouring rain... Paintings exhibited and bought for the private collections in native Latvia, neighbouring Lithuania, Estonia and Russia, Germany, England, even the distant Brasil, Canada and United States.
