Viive Kuks-Near Vōru

Viike Kuks - Near Vōru (1997.) Etching. 68/100. Matting 13 1/2" X 3 1/2". Wood frame: 21" X 9". Glass. Estonian graphic artist. Born 1952 in Tallinn, Estonia. Attended the Art Institute in Tallinn. Later moved to the Southern town of Vōru, where she married and has lived and worked ever since. She loves nature and most of her work involves drawing landscapes, although she is also quite accomplished in pastel portraiture. She has had numerous one - women exhibitions in Estonia and Finland. Later also in Japan. She has a daughter and twin sons.
